Elizabeth D. "Betty" Bolin

BOLIN, Elizabeth "Betty" (nee McCloskey), beloved wife of Bill Bolin of Phoenixville, PA died Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at home.

 

Born July 23, 1948, she was a daughter of the late John Patrick & Florence (Barlly) McCloskey.

 

Betty was a long time parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Spring City, and was also an avid volunteer with Main Line Animal Rescue. She happily retired from working completely in 2010.

 

She and her husband were always looking for new entertainment; enjoying TV shows, concerts, movies, and trying new restaurants. Betty most cherished the time spent with family, friends, and her animals at home.

 

Surviving, in addition to her husband Bill, are brothers and sisters:

Patrick McCloskey (Mary Jane)

Bonnie Ringler

Maureen Meehan (Bryan)

John McCloskey (Cherie)

Mark McCloskey

 

She was also loved by many nieces and nephews and her surviving dog, Bama.

 

She was preceded in death by "her babies," Pinky, Elf, Nicky, Jingles, Gloria, Finch, and her cats, Mischief, Daisy, and Jackson.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA 19475 on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.

 

A visitation will be held in the church on Friday from 9:30 until 10:15 am.

 

Interment will be held privately.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Betty may be made to Main Line Animal Rescue at www.mlar.org/donate.
