Elizabeth A. (Hritz) Smrek, 93, wife of the late Andrew V. Smrek, Sr. of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family of Laura Keen , Dylan Mitchell and her son Robert.

Born on April 4, 1932 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Bellock) Hritz.

She worked for Prudential Insurance in Norristown, PA for over 40 years.

A devout member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Elizabeth also served as President of the local chapter of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, demonstrating her commitment to her community and faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew V. Smrek, Sr., son, Andrew V. Smrek, Jr. and sister, Theresa Kraynak.
