Edith McDaniel

Edith A. McDaniel, 83, wife of the late Cary L. McDaniel, Sr. of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Berkshire Commons.

Born on June 23, 1938 in Peekskill, N.Y. to the late Kenneth and Margaret Hall.

Living the wonderful farm life, Edie’s passion for horses continued into her teen years where she won many ribbons for her riding. She was a lover to all animals, loved the outdoors, and camping. Known for her playfulness, Edie would always bring laughter to everyone.

Niece, Lynne DiMaio Jacobs, son Michael DiMaio, and her husband Paul Nephews, Louis Jr. and Jeff DiMaio, Step-son Cary McDaniel Jr and wife Mary, Step-daughter Sharon White and husband Dennis, Step-Granchildren Cary III, April, Mike, Amy, Melissa and Andrew.

She was also preceded in death by:

Brother-in-law, Louis DiMaio, Sr., Niece, Diane DiMaio, Maternal Grandparents, Noble and Nellie, and Paternal Grandmother, Emma.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in First United Methodist Church, 865 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.

A viewing will held in church on Friday from 9:15 am to 10:15 am.
