Earl Wade, Jr

Earl (Sonny) W. Wade, Jr., 84, husband of the late Kimiko (Takagi) Wade, of Oaks, PA, died on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at home.
Born on July 1, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Earl W. Sr. and Charlotte (Zeimer) Wade.
Earl was a Civil Engineer in the United States Army for over 20 years serving during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He then worked at PENCO for 20 years, retiring in 1995.
He served a term as Commodore and was a member of the Norristown Boat Club. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 482 and Veterans of Foreign War Post 1564.

son, Earl Wade, III,
daughter, Sylvia Roberts and husband Colyn,
daughter, Cynthia Robey and husband Mike,
son, Robert Wade and wife Josie,
14 grandchildren,
12 great-grandchildren,
brother, Richard Wade,
sister, Charlotte Gardner.
He was preceded in death by son, John Wade and brother, Harry Wade.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 4:00 pm.
A viewing will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
Burial will be private in Parker Ford Baptist Church Cemetery.
