Dorothy L. Anderson-Bey

Dorothy L. Anderson-Bey, 86, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 in St. Luke's Hospital.

Born on May 18, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of Frank Travis-Bey and Julia (Brown) Travis-Bey.

She was a graduate of Phoenixville High School.

Dorothy dedicated her career as a Teacher's Aide at the Phoenixville Area Children's Learning Center, playing a pivotal role in the lives of many children in her community. She was also a devoted member of the Moorish Science Temple The Divine and National Movement of North America Inc. #2, demonstrating her strong commitment to her faith and community.

A woman of many joys, Dorothy cherished spending her time with family and friends. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including playing bingo and was well-known for her exceptional macaroni and cheese.

She is survived by 3 daughters:
Lisa Anderson;
Carmella Anderson-Bey;
Sylvia Anderson.

3 Grandchildren, Hasan Anderson-Bey, Natasha Silver, and Nicole Silver.

2 Great-grandchildren, Lionel Edwards, Jr. and Trinity Tomlin.

Cousin, Travis Ford-Bey.

Nephew, James Anderson-Bey and 2 nieces, Ava Anderson and Vicky Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James Anderson.
