Dolores A. Younker

Dolores A. (Matz) Younker, 85, wife of the late James P. Younker of Royersford, PA passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Born on December 30, 1939 in Hazleton, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Scatton) Matz.

She worked for Handicrafters, St. Gabriel's Hall, and Superior Beverage,Oil Company. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

Dolores was an active member of Linfield Villas, enjoyed shopping, avid Phillies fan and loved going to the games, loved being outside walking, family events, and her grand and great grandchildren.

She is survived by 3 children:

Son, James J. husband of Holly Younker;

Daughter, Cheryl A. Harrop;

Son, Randall P. husband of Kathleen Younker.

9 Grandchildren, Meredith, Matthew, Ryan, Randi, Tara, Tate, Brooklynne, Theodore, and Travis.

10 Great Grand-children, Olivia, Anthony Joseph (AJ), Emma, Harrison, Dante, Dominic, Isabella, Violet, Charli Rose, and Mila.

Sister, Elizabeth McBride.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Nicholas Matz, Rosemarie Minor, and Geraldine A. Kenvin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:00 am.

A visitation will be held in the church on Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
