Christine Shay Devaney, affectionately known as Tina, passed away peacefully at her home on August 12, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on February 2, 1970, in Phoenixville, she spent her formative years nestled in the embrace of her hometown, eventually attending Phoenixville Schools.
Tina was a gifted artist whose passion for creativity knew no bounds. She poured her heart into painting and drawing, taking great joy in arranging flowers and expressing herself through poetry. Her artistic talents brought beauty not only to her life but also to the lives of those who were fortunate enough to witness her work.
Tina leaves behind her cherished family, including her devoted father, Richard J. "Gump" Devaney, and her beloved son, Troy Devaney. She is also survived by her dear nephews, Rusty Heasley, Joe Heasley, and Elijah Heasley, along with her brother-in-law, Russell Heasley.
Though she may be gone, Tina's legacy will remain in the hearts of her family and friends, forever treasured in their memories and inspired by her vibrant spirit. She now joins her late mother, Patricia Ann (Rutter) Devaney, her sister, Melissa Heasley, and her brother, Richard Devaney III, as well as her niece, Caroline Heasley, who have all preceded her in death.
Tina's light will undoubtedly be missed, but her artistic legacy and the love she shared will continue to inspire and comfort those she leaves behind.
A private service will be held for Tina's family.
