Charles Stephen "Chuck" Barbera, 64, husband of Alison Saunders of Chester Springs, PA passed away on Monday evening, June 2, 2025 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Born on August 30, 1960 in Philadelphia, PA he was a son of the late Stephen J. and Joan C. (Redmond) Barbera. Chuck graduated from Phoenixville High School in 1978 and received his MBA from Penn State University.

Chuck worked as a realtor for the past 15 years. He was also the chef and owner of Chuckie B's Meatballs which he started in 2022.

Chuck was an active community member serving on numerous committees for the local Realtor Association, Phoenixville YMCA and area business community. Most recently he was the Chairman of the Open Space Committee and the Parks and Recreation Board for East Whiteland Township.

In addition to his wife Alison, he is survived by six children: William Barbera, Sophie Barbera, Ryan Barbera, Carly Saunders wife of Liv Thomas, Chris Saunders, and Mary Saunders wife of Nate Butcher and brother, Scott husband of Irene Barbera.

A Celebration of Chuck's Life will be held on Tuesday June 17th from 4-7pm at Columbia Grande, 4 Bridge St, Phoenixville.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you continue to support your local farmer's markets and Chuckie B's Meatballs which will continue to be managed by his family.
