Cecelia M. Irwin

Cecelia M. Irwin, 62, of Downingtown, PA, passed away peacefully at home on October 29, 2026. Born on August 17, 1964, in Philadelphia, PA, Cecelia was the cherished daughter of the late Eugene and Marie (LaRosa) Irwin.

She graduated as Valedictorian from St. Katherine Day School in 1985. Her career was dedicated to serving others at PEP in Philadelphia and DEC in Pottstown, where she made a lasting impact. She also loved going to Camp Joy.

Cecelia is survived by her sister, Mary wife of George Butler, along with her six nephews: Brian Mount, Daniel Gianelloni, George Butler, William Butler, Frank Butler, and Dennis Butler. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Irwin, and sister, Sarah Mount.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, 500 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road Springfield, PA.

A visitation will be held in the church on Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
