Carol Jean Butterfield

Carol J. (Epprecht) Butterfield, 77, of Mont Clare, PA passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at home, surrounded by her family.

Born May 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late William Epprecht, Jr. and Doris Epprecht (Ettinger).

She worked for Allstate, Synthes, and Shared Medical Systems before retirement.

She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mont Clare, PA.

Carol was a beloved President of the Flag House Resident Association where she had resided for the last 6 years.  She enjoyed the beach, trips with her family, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved son, Patrick, husband of Kristina Butterfield.

4 Grandchildren, John, Rachel (Shawn), Lauren (Lucas), and Jacob.

3 Great-grandchildren, Stella, Wesley, and Sadie.

3 Brothers, William Epprecht III, James husband of Linda Epprecht, and Donald Epprecht (Pat).

A visitation will be held at Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 181 Walnut Street, Mont Clare, PA 19453 on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 11:00 am. A Luncheon to follow immediately after.
