Bernard W. August

Bernard W. August, 78, husband of Betty (Reber) August, of East Coventry, PA passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at home.

Born on May 5, 1947 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Bernard and Esther (McDonald) August.

He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War.

He worked at the former AP deSanno until its closing and then McKissic's in Parker Ford.

Bernard was a member of American Legion, Polish Club, Friendship Fire Company, Liberty Fire Company, Lower Pottsgrove Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed going to car shows in Ocean City, MD.

In addition to his wife of 57 years he is survived by 2 daughters: Patricia Ann wife of Jamie Lyles; Betty Ann wife of Earl Kennedy; 5 Grandchildren; and his Nieces.

A gathering will be held at a later date.
