Barbara Schmidt

Barbara A. (Bolger) Schmidt, 75, of Reading, formerly of Phoenixville, PA passed away in her home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. She was the wife of the late Stanley E. Schmidt.

Born on February 4, 1942 in Phoenixville, PA she was a daughter of the late Steven and Mary (Lysoby) Bolger.

She worked in sales at Rotelle & Saylor Food Services and then at Colonial Gardens in Phoenixville.

She is survived by two sons: Lawrence Schultz Jr. and his wife Deborah, Daniel E. Schultz and his wife Susan; three grandsons: Steven, Matthew, and Jared; sister, Janice wife of William Lynch.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 1:30pm. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 12:00 to 1:15 pm.

Burial will be private in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Phoenixville.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be sent to any local animal shelter.
