OBITUARY - BARBARA A. LACY

                       NOVEMBER 20, 1940 – October 21, 2023

Barbara A. Lacy, 83, of Phoenixville, died on October 21, 2023.  Born in Phoenixville, she grew up in Kimberton, the daughter of the late Francis and Evelyn Supiot and was the wife of Horace D. Lacy with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

Barbara was a 1958 graduate of Phoenixville Area High School and worked at Roberts Packing Company in Kimberton in her early life.  She later became the Cafeteria Manager for the Phoenixville Area High School, retiring after 39 years.

She spent her life dedicated to her husband and family.  Barbara is survived by three sons:  Brian S. husband of Sara, Acworth, GA; Ronald H. husband of Lisa, New Egypt, NJ; Thomas F. husband of Nancy, Springfield, VA.

She was so proud of her eight granddaughters:  Christine wife of Szymon Saniewski; Alex wife of Timothy Kreul; Rachel wife of John Chambliss; Danielle financee of Hunter Giles.   Other granddaughters are Kelly, Madelyn, Alexis, and Ashley Lacy.  Also, are Nicholas husband of Annie, Rachel, and Taylor George.  Visits with them were the highlight of her life.

She is survived by sisters Sandra, wife of the late Robert K. Momyer, Audubon, PA, and Judith, wife of Joseph Godri, South Coventry, PA.  Nephews and nieces also survive.

Barbara’s life will be celebrated on November 21, 2023, at the Devlin-Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA.  A visitation will be held 9-10 a.m. followed by a service with internment at Philadelphia Memorial Park.
