Barbara (Grivner) Bone, aged 82, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, at Phoenixville Hospital. She was the beloved wife of William J. Bone, residing in Phoenixville, PA.

Born on June 2, 1944, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Barbara was the cherished daughter of the late John and Catherine (Yankovich) Grivner. She graduated from Wilkes-Barre Township High School and earned her Licensed Practical Nurse degree from Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Barbara took time away from work to raise her children before going on to work as a customer service representative at QVC in West Chester, PA.

A devoted member of the Holy Ghost Orthodox Church in Phoenixville, Barbara had a passion for making and teaching the art of Pysanky (egg decorating). Attending church services was something that Barbara really enjoyed. Over the years she served as a member of the choir in several different churches. During Holy Lent she always enjoyed attending the Mission Services at various Orthodox churches in the greater Philadelphia, PA area, making many friends in the Orthodox community, including many priests and bishops.

Barbara's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were cherished by her, and she would do anything for them.

Barbara is survived by her husband William and their three children: William D. Bone, domestic partner of Jacqueline Lorince, Chester Springs, PA; Gregory M. Bone, husband of Yvette Costa, Durham, NC; and Larissa Bone, wife of Fauz Kassamali, Berkeley, CA. She also leaves behind two cherished granddaughters, Tania, wife of Nevin Goebel, Voorhees, NJ and Alisa, wife of Brandon Casto, Downingtown, PA, along with two great-grandsons, Liam Goebel and Beau Casto. Barbara is also survived by her brother, John Grivner, husband of Cynthia, Blue Bell, PA.
Barbara's Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, in Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, 70 Holy Ghost Way, Phoenixville, PA at 12:00 noon. A viewing will be held in the church on Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.

Burial will be in Fern Knoll Cemetery, Dallas, PA on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 am.
