Barbara A. (Buckwalter) Beitler, 88, wife of the late David G. Beitler of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 in Reading Hospital.

Born on June 24, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Evelyn (McNerney) Buckwalter.

Barbara dedicated 20 years of her life serving as a secretary at Second Avenue Elementary School, where she touched many lives.

She found great joy in playing golf and treasured the time spent with her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by 3 children:

David G. Beitler, Jr. husband of Eileen;

Wanda A. Brewer;

Douglas J. Beitler.

6 Grandchildren, Meghan Beitler, Colleen Beitler, Matthew husband of Gabby Beitler, Sara Brewer, Kelly Brewer, and Robert Thomas.

3 Great-grandchildren, Aiden, Theodore, and Scottie.

Brothers, Ronald husband of Bonnie Buckwalter, Robert Buckwalter, and David husband of Eileen Buckwalter.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeffrey Beitler, brother, John husband of Patricia Buckwalter, and sister-in-law, Olive Buckwalter.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service in the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery.

A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
