Anthony Cionti

Anthony J. "Shorty" Cionti, 95, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at home.

Born on September 4, 1925 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late John and Catherine (Ferruilo) Cionti.

Shorty was in the US Army and served in World War II and retired from Phoenix Steel.

He was a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Santa Anna Italian-American Club, and VFW Post 1564 in Phoenixville, PA.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Peter Ceianti and Carl Ceianti, and sisters, Caroline Quinn, Teresa Ceianti, Nancy Ceianti, and Rose Scaringi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

A viewing will be in church on Thursday from 8:45 am to 9:45 am.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
