Andy Himes, 62, husband of Lynn (Tinney) Himes, of Spring City, PA passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021.
Born on December 11, 1958 in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of Charles E. and Kay (Nickoloff) Himes.
Andy was loved by all he met and central in his children’s lives, as well as the local sports community. He was heavily involved in the Pennsylvania Predators youth hockey, Hill Football, and Providence College Lacrosse organizations. Andy was the Supervisor of Nuclear Medicine Department at Phoenixville Hospital, where he served the community for over 40 years. His presence will be sorely missed in these communities but his legacy will continue to leave a lasting impact. Andy was selfless and he loved nothing more than to help others and to make them laugh. He always donned a smile, and if you were to ask him, he never had a bad day in his life.
In addition to his wife and parents, Andy is survived by two children: son, Tyler Himes and daughter, Rachel Himes; sister, Michelle Himes Howard, brother, Keith Himes (Judy) and many nieces, nephews, and friends that were considered family.
A visitation will be held at Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, April 10, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
