Alfred F. Del Rossi, Jr. 97, husband of the late Lucille M. (Marano) Del Rossi of King of Prussia, PA passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017.
He was born on March 21, 1919 in Philadelphia, PA and was a son of the late Alfred F. Sr. and Emilia (Abate) Del Rossi.
Alfred served in the U.S. Army during World War II
He retired from Nelson's Ice Cream in Royersford and had been an active member of Visitation B.V.M. Catholic Church in Trooper.
He was the last surviving founding member of the Worcester Fire Department.
He is survived by:
son, Alfred F. Del Rossi III and his wife Donna of Ft. Myers, FL
daughter, Emmy Gehring and her husband Roger of Chester Springs, PA
son, Damon Del Rossi of Ft. Lauderdale, FL
granddaughter, Janine Del Rossi of Long Island, NY
He was preceded in death by his brothers Gabriel and Nicholas, and sister Maria
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. John J. Newns officiating.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA
A viewing will be held in the church on Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
