Alfred K. "Buzz" Alexy, Jr., 83, husband of Anna May (King) Alexy, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA.
Born on November 30, 1933 in East Norriton, PA, he was the son of the late Alfred K. Sr. and Viola (Casey) Alexy.
Buzz was a 1951 graduate of Phoenixville High School.
He served for 4 years in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
He worked at Amerada Hess Corporation in Pennsauken, NJ.
He coached for the Kimberton Youth Athletic League, was a Past President of the Phoenixville Jaycees, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 58 years are,
son, J. Karl and wife Jill Alexy,
son, Eric M. and wife Bonnie Alexy,
6 grandchildren,
Jessica, Christopher, Julianne,
Allison, Emma, Anthony,
and sister, Betty Davis.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lee Alexy and sister, V. Suzanne O'Malley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jeffrey Stecz officiating.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
