William Michael "Mike" Johnston, 52, husband of Lisa R. (Braun) Johnston, of Audubon, PA, died on Friday, November 24, 2017 in Paoli Hospital, Paoli, PA.
Born on April 30, 1965 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Angela (Crist) Hayes of Phoenixville and the late William Johnston.
On May 14, 1988, he married his loving wife Lisa Braun.
Mike was a cosmetologist in the Philadelphia area for over 23 years and operated his own Salon.
He attended Montgomery County Community College and the National Labor College where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Labor, Safety and Health. He was currently pursuing his Master's Degree in School Business Leadership from Wilkes University.
Mike was Assistant Transportation Supervisor for the Upper Darby School District and former Supervisor of Transportation for the Upper Dublin School District.
Mike loved to run, bicycle, and ride his motorcycle.
He was dedicated, driven, restless and could do anything he put his mind to. He loved to learn.
He was nicknamed "Superman" by his wife and 2 daughters.
He was the funniest, quirky, goofiest guy but, at the same time was calm, endearing, positive and creative.
He touched the lives of many and was a great role model who was thoughtful, kind and giving.
His family is what he truly lived for.

daughter, Lauren Mika Johnston of Audubon, PA
sister, Angela Hagerty of Philadelphia, PA
brother, Joseph Johnston of Feasterville, PA
He was the uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street & Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 am.
Burial will be private.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
