She will be remembered for her warm sense of humor, infectious smile, and compassionate spirit. She loved to comfort and counsel others, and she was a loyal friend as well as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.  She brought smiles wherever she went.

She is survived by her daughter Kelliann Hess Dearolf (Charles); son John Hess (Brandi); step-son Richard Butler (Debi); step-daughter Claudia Butler Shannon (Gregg); grandchildren Michelle Dearolf, Jennine Weller (Ezra), Life Butler (Ivy), Ariel Volpe (Richard), Gabrielle Butler, Neil Allison; and great-grandchildren Milo Lawrence Weller, Silas Butler Gebert, Tristan Butler, and Oliver, Theodore, and Ewan Volpe.  In addition, she is survived by her sister Theresa Yednock, sister-in-law Joyce Scaringi, and many loving nieces and nephews.
